Monk Book 11: Mr. Monk on the Road
Published in January 2011, Mr. Monk on the Road is the 11th book in the Monk series and was written by Lee Goldberg.
Finally, Trudy’s murder has been solved. Now Monk can get on with his life. The Monk books can also start charting new territory in the story of Adrian Monk and his assistant Natalie Teeger.
Continuity is no longer an issue because the stories are independent of possible story breaking events from the television series, like what happened with the episode Mr. Monk and Sharona and the book Mr. Monk and the Two Assistants.
As usual, Natalie narrates the story, which involves Monk’s agoraphobic brother Ambrose and Monk’s attempt to get him out of his house.
This Monk mystery is one fans will not want to miss, especially if you’ve ever wondered what Monk would be like now that his wife’s murder has been solved.
