Monk Book 12: Mr. Monk on the Couch
Published in June 2011, Mr. Monk on the Couch is book #12 in the Monk series. Lee Goldberg brings us another Monk mystery.
Goldberg offers up a more Natalie-centric story in this particular book. If you enjoy Natalie and want to see her play a bigger role in one of the Monk books, then this one is definitely for you. If not, and you prefer all Monk, all the time, you might have to set aside your bias to really enjoy this book to its fullest.
Still, this book shows more about what is happening to Monk and his circle of friends and family now that the series is over and any fan is probably going to enjoy that.
Monk’s brother Ambrose is back, along with the Randy Disher replacement, because Disher (as in the television series) is no longer with SFPD.
Natalie not only narrates but plays a bigger role in this book, and she tries out her own detective skills as she tracks down the history of an old man found dead
