In CJ Lyons' Warning Signs, Lyons brings back Lydia, Amanda, Nora, and Gina from her previous novel, Lifelines, in a fresh new medical mystery. Fast-paced action keep the story moving from the early introduction of Amanda's mysterious illness to the dramatic climax. Lots of medical jargon fill the pages, but Lyons has a way of keeping the material accessible for readers who don't know all the medical terminology. Warning Signs is a quick read, with an interesting, if somewhat predictable, mystery. The book's magic happens with the characters and the way the story is put together. If you like medical mysteries, you'll probably like Warning Signs.
